This project is applied to the rural power grid upgrade in the tropical savanna region of an African country. Rockwill special-environment voltage regulator successfully overcomes extreme challenges such as high temperature & humidity, strong UV radiation, heavy rains, lightning strikes, and wildlife interference.
Adopting an IP65 fully sealed enclosure, anti-corrosion coating, and integrated lightning protection design, the equipment achieves stable voltage control and zero-downtime operation, providing reliable power support for local communities and agricultural irrigation facilities.
Designed for Extreme Working Conditions
- High Temperature & UV Resistance: The enclosure uses hot-dip galvanized steel with a weather-resistant anti-corrosion coating of ≥120μm. It passes UV aging test for over 1000 hours, maintains stable heat dissipation at 45℃, and prevents overheating.
- Moisture & Rainstorm Resistance: Fully sealed cavity structure with fluororubber sealing rings at wiring ports and internal moisture-proof potting resin. Insulation performance remains stable under 95% relative humidity and short-term rain immersion.
- Lightning Protection & Impact Resistance: Integrated surge protection and grounding device, tested to IEC 62305 lightning protection standards, effectively defending against frequent lightning strikes in tropical regions to secure equipment and lines.
- Wide Temperature Range & Wind Resistance: Operates stably within a wide temperature range of -10℃~+55℃. Reinforced steel base and wind-resistant guy wires enable resistance to Category 12 tropical storms.
