Rockwill is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in medium and high voltage power transmission and distribution. With a facility area of 250,000 m² and multiple production bases in Wenzhou and Lishui, the company produces 400–500 transformers per month.
Product voltage ranges from 2.4 kV to 500 kV, with unit capacities from 3 kVA to 360 MVA, covering oil-immersed, dry-type, and earthing transformers, compact substations, voltage regulators, and intelligent monitoring systems.
Delivered 38 step-up transformers for a 20 MW PV plant in Namibia; supplied 73 units of 33 kV outdoor voltage transformers to Zambia; manufactured 15 compact substations for France; exported 263 units of 33 kV voltage regulators to Bangladesh; recently completed factory acceptance testing for a Rwanda national grid upgrade project.
Rockwill has comprehensive custom design, manufacturing, and testing capabilities for the North American standard market, fully compliant with ANSI C57, IEEE, CSA, DOE 2016, and other standards.

With the US transformer market facing supply-demand tightness, Rockwill leverages digital manufacturing and a factory-direct model to deliver highly competitive, fast-response products. The products are CSA, ANSI C57, and DOE certified, featuring ultra-low losses, noise levels below NEMA standards, and 150% emergency overload capacity.
On July 12, 2025, 36 units of ANSI-standard AVRs (400 A) passed Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), receiving a "very satisfied" rating from the customer. They fully passed ANSI C57.15 type tests, strongly validating Rockwill's engineering delivery capability and quality reliability in the ANSI market.
Since 2019, Rockwill has been strategically investing in Solid-State Transformers (SST). Facing the extreme load demands of new power systems and AI computing centers, Rockwill has adopted a dual-track strategy: "in-house system-level solutions + external expansion into key materials and devices." In the SST domain, Rockwill partners with PCsemic to jointly develop a full product series and solutions, achieving global coverage of grids, frequencies, and voltage ranges.

Rockwill and PCsemic's jointly developed SST is compatible with 50/60 Hz grid frequencies. The MV side covers global typical distribution voltages including 10 kV, 13.8 kV, 20 kV, 33 kV, and 35 kV (with upward scalability). The LV side provides 400 V AC, 480 V AC, 800 V DC, and other outputs — fully adaptable to IEC, ANSI/IEEE, GB, and other major standards. This enables "one unit, global compatibility." Key scenarios:
Rockwill provides grid application scenarios and system validation platforms, while PCsemic contributes core power devices and packaging technology. Together, they have developed a fully solid-state Power Electronic Transformer (PET).
PCsemic is a Rockwill strategic investee, focused on SiC, GaN, and other third-generation semiconductors. It spans the entire chain from "materials → chips → devices → systems," with a CNAS-accredited laboratory and a national post-doctoral workstation (10 post-docs currently, 7 full-time). Core achievements:
Rockwill and PCsemic have formed a complete closed loop of "materials → chips → devices → systems" in the SST field. Driven by both system-level solutions and core material/device capabilities, Rockwill is evolving from a power equipment supplier into a global smart energy router and ecosystem builder.
Rockwill possesses world-class manufacturing capabilities in medium and high voltage transformers, with unit capacities ranging from 3 kVA to 360 MVA and ANSI market track record validated by authoritative customers. At the same time, the company has strategically positioned itself in the solid-state transformer and third-generation semiconductor industry chain. Partnering with PCsemic to jointly develop a full SST product series, with independent breakthroughs in key materials and devices, the product line comprehensively covers global grid frequencies and mainstream distribution voltages, adapting to IEC, IEEE, GB, and other international standards. Through this dual-wheel drive model, Rockwill is accelerating its transformation into a global smart energy router and ecosystem builder, delivering efficient and reliable power conversion solutions to the world.
